Tikka Pre-fit Barrel-Proof Research Stainless Steel | PXT
$999.99
Upgrade your Tikka with a PROOF PXT pre-fit barrel from SJA. Choose a stainless steel for a precision-focused setup. Each barrel gives you a foundation for your next custom rifle, combining a Tikka action with a PROOF barrel.
Due to the nature of the way Tikka barrels are torqued on we need to have the action in in order to get the head space perfect, if the customer chooses to install themselves they understand they will need to headspace it correctly. We also usually (but not always) need to put a relief cut into the barrel to remove it from the action in order to keep the integrity of the action. We are not able to send out the old barrel if we have to cut it off.Â
Lead times of actions are still difficult to predict. Since this is a custom made to order product, orders may take 12-14 weeks or longe, depending on what action you choose, but some may ship sooner.Â
