Growing up in the beautiful state of Utah, I developed a deep love and appreciation for the great outdoors. As a child, I spent my time fishing and hunting with my family, instilling in me a passion for nature and conservation. Which to this day still holds dear to me as a director on the Utah State board of the NWTF.
It wasn't until I discovered precision long range shooting in the US Army that my true passion was ignited. The precision, patience, and skill required in this sport captivated me and has been a driving force in my life ever since. With multiple sponsorships and consulting jobs over the last 13 years I have put a lot of blood sweat and tears into the precision long range sport and hope to always be encouraging growth and investing in new shooters.
Working for Remington and Barnes for 6 of those years in a ballistics and Armorer role threw me head first into the hunting and shooting community. With customers calling in constantly for help I can relate and help them on their journey to becoming better shooters!
I also have a strong interest in business and entrepreneurship, which led me to become an investor and CEO in multiple outdoor companies, including the purchase of Straight Jacket Armory in 2023. As the CEO and owner, I am constantly striving to push boundaries and innovate within the firearms industry while staying true to my values of conservation and ethical hunting practices.
In addition to my work in the outdoor industry, I am also a podcast host on the Long Range Tactics Podcast where I share my knowledge and passion for precision long range hunting and shooting with others. Through this platform, I hope to inspire others to discover their own passions and make a positive impact on our industry and sport.
Whether it's through business ventures or spending quality time with loved ones in the great outdoors, I am driven by my strong leadership skills and unwavering determination to make every day count, and to make positive growth in this industry.

Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, I was surrounded by nature and developed a deep appreciation for the great outdoors. I left home as a welder and owner of my own company but my love for hunting and shooting led me me full circle back to gunsmithing and machining the most accurate rifle available. I understand as a user the importance of having confidence in my rifle and ammunition and helping others in the sport makes my job that much better!
I moved to Mount Pleasant, Utah recently from Evanston Wyoming to help grow Straight Jacket Armory as their COO and Shop Manager. In this role, I oversee all operations and ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and precision.
My dedication to my work stems from my passion for helping others experience the joy and thrill of hunting and shooting. I believe that through our products, we can enhance people's outdoor experiences and create lasting memories.
In my free time, you can find me fishing or gold prospecting with my family or friends. These hobbies allow me to disconnect from the fast-paced business world and reconnect with what gave me the passion to be here.

Kelsey Quarnberg

Growing up in the beautiful state of Utah in a very small town, I have always had a love for the great outdoors. Whether it was going on camping trips with my family or spending hours exploring in the mountains, nature has always been my escape. This love for the outdoors eventually led me to helping my husband Cole with his endeavors in the outdoor industry.
After moving out of small town Utah I started my career as a loan officer at a local bank. It was during this time that I honed my skills in accounting and budgeting, all while developing a keen eye for detail. But I knew that I wanted to do more, to have a bigger impact on my financial freedom and family life.
As CFO of Straight Jacket, I am constantly inspired by our mission to provide high-quality products for people who share our passion for nature.
Outside of work, you can find me spending time with my two kids, teaching them about all the wonders of nature and passing down my love for hunting and camping. And on weekends, you might even catch me browsing yard sales!

Hey y'all I’m the Sales Manager here at Straight Jacket Armory. I grew up over the mountain and east of where the shop is located in a small community in Emery County. I’ve always loved hunting and have been a hunter my whole life. My experience with rifles was pretty boring compared to the rest of the crew up until a decade ago when a friend of mine had me shoot groups smaller than a paper plate.
I spent most of my grown up days working hard labor jobs like construction and coal mining. I spent five years building rifles for a larger manufacturer but it just wasn’t what I was looking for. Then I found Straight Jacket and they gave me the opportunity to have a job where I get to meet you fine customers and be a part of something more meaningful.
I look forward to being part of the precision rifle community and growing and learning. This is a great bunch of people and the process for making the best rifles has been exciting. I look forward to working with every one of you and getting you the highest quality precision rifles.
Austin Kinsey

I grew up in Sanpete County but have called just about every corner of Utah home at one point or another. I didn’t catch the shooting bug until 2010, when my uncle, a gunsmith, pulled me into the world of precision and performance. Once I started, I was hooked.
I prefer range time over everything else and will happily spend an entire day chasing tighter groups and tougher challenges. My go to rifle is a 22-250 because it's light, fast, and flat out fun to shoot.
When I'm not at the range, I'll trade rifles for wrenches. I enjoys bringing old vehicles back to life and have already restored an ’89 Jeep Comanche. Up next in my garage is a classic ’72 Ford Bronco. Whether it’s steel targets or classic cars, I love the process of dialing things in and doing them right.

I was born and raised in Holden, Utah, and now proudly call Mt. Pleasant home.
I got my start in hunting after getting married, tagging along at first just to spend time with my husband. That didn’t last long. On my very first hunt, I skipped the buck fever entirely, held steady, and made a clean shot on a small 3x4 buck. Every year since, that buck seems to get a little bigger—along with my love for hunting.
Working at SJA keeps me on my toes, in the best way. Every order passes through my hands, so I get to see each build come together and learn something new every day. One of my favorite parts of the job is talking with customers and letting them know their order is on the way.
If I'm not juggling orders at SJA, I'm usually juggling kids at home. And when I finally get a quiet moment, you’ll likely find me behind the chair, putting my skills to work as a hair stylist

I majored in marketing and love having a creative outlet in my work.
