The barrels here are built to order. SJA is not a giant shop pumping out barrels like an assembly line, we take pride in doing one barrel at a time on our state of the art CNC machines. They are chambered by our great team and we pride ourselves on attention to detail.
We only use the best match grade barrels so rest assured you will get only the best. Every single barrel comes with the SJA guarantee ensuring you get exactly what you want. SO, know the wait will be worth it!
Due to high volumes of orders and manufactures lead times you may have extended waiting periods for the order to be complete.
Industry availability can affect lead times on all products! Sometimes it takes longer to get in but often we are able to get them in faster than posted lead times.
Stainless Steel Pre-Fits

Carbon Barrels
Proof carbon are the most used here, depending on length is the key as we cant just cut them to work. The preferred are about the same but are slightly heavier.
.224-.308 - 4-12 weeks or more depending on optionsÂ
18-22'' - are the hardest to get as they are the most popular, it could add to lead time but most are still coming in slowly.
.338 26" Will be notified, no-one is building them very fast so please be patient.
Bartlein are 12+ months but call and we might be able to find one at a distributor for a faster turn around
Benchmark are 4- 6 months on average
Sig Carbon
Most barrels are getting to us in 8-12 weeks and it takes us 2-3 weeks to chamber and ship.
All lengths are the same as we order them according to the customers order
Customer Supplied barrel
If you send in a barrel average turn around is 3 weeks or less from time of arrival at SJA as of 4/28/2025. If you need it faster just call and we can see if we can push it through.
Barreled Actions
Actions take 12-14 weeks on average. Industry availability heavily affects actions and they can take longer without knowing the timeframe! We have recurring orders with Impact and Zermatt, and sometimes, they are not able to ship to us as fast as we need. Terminus actions have slowed way down! We do have them available for back orders, seeing 5-6 month lead times for their actions.
