Weighing at 23 ounces, features a skeletonized stainless steel body for weight reduction but does not compromise quality and rigidity.

Manufactured in house the bolt features a 2-lug bolt face with a 3 piece assembly allowing the shooter to customize the bolt to their specific needs.

Action and bolt size available are short action standard .308, magnum, and long action magnum.

The Stiller Wombat Pre-fit barrels combine strength, precision, and reliability in one robust platform. The Stiller Wombat action is a purpose-built precision receiver. Built to handle large magnum cartridges like the .338 Lapua, .375 CheyTac, and similar heavy hitters.

416R Stainless Steel

CNC machined from a solid billet of hardened 416R stainless steel, the Wombat is engineered for stiffness and consistent performance shot after shot. Its flat bottom design makes it ideal for custom builds, especially in benchrest or ELR (Extreme Long Range) rifles where stability is critical. The action features a .750″ integral recoil lug and a 1.35” diameter body for added strength and bedding surface.

A large bolt with a 1.00” diameter offers smooth cycling and strong lockup, while the dual lug, 60° bolt throw keeps things fast and efficient. The spiral fluting on the bolt not only reduces weight but also helps keep debris out. It also includes a side bolt release and an M16-style extractor for solid and reliable extraction, even under pressure.

Remington 700 footprint

The Wombat is compatible with Remington 700-style triggers and comes standard with a 20 MOA Picatinny rail for easy optics mounting. Whether you’re building a competition rifle, a tactical rig, or a serious long-range hunting setup, the Wombat delivers the quality and features you need.
