this is a great way to get your barrel back timely! Average lead time is 3-4 weeks shipped back to you! We do offer a rush service, but you need to call ahead before selecting to ensure we have a good sharp reamer and have someone able to stay late and get your barrel out in the 3-5 day window.

All of my Straight Jacket chambered barrels flat shoot. I have always had good communication with the team regarding caliber, twist rate, barrel length. No headspace issues, just load up ammo and shoot. I gave Straight Jacket a chance after multiple bad experiences with another gunsmith. I got an 18” 22GT cut and it shoots amazing. I wasn’t a fan of some of the selectable options on the webpage, so I called up LaWayne and he got me lined out with exactly what I was looking for. I wanted mine shouldered to the barrel extension on a medium Palma profile and a 1:8” twist. I am in love with my Sig Cross now, I always thought it was the ideal truck gun but didn’t like the 6.5 CM for coyotes. Now that I have it in the best .224 cartridge designed, and shooting sub 1/2” groups with 62gr ELD-VT at ≈3350fps, I take it with me everywhere. Just need to work a load with 80gr ELD-X for deer and antelope now.

My .308 win barrel is top workmanship. It shoots 10 shot 1/2” groups with single sd’s. I did no load development or brake in. Great work guys!
