Description
Our Pre-fit Big Horn Origin barrels are CNC cut stainless match grade barrels and quickly becoming the standard in pre-fit barrels. Used by top NRL competitors, these barrels have redefined how we think about pre-fit barrels today. Thanks to the high-pressure wash system used in our reaming process, throats and the entire chamber itself have never been smoother and free of tooling marks. This means the barrel needs less “fire lapping” and starts grouping right away! We use only top-quality blanks—cryo-treated blanks that are all inspected by use of a Hawkeye Borescope before your blank is cut.
Moreover, our process ensures tighter tolerances and more consistent results across every build. Each Pre-fit Big Horn Origin barrel is engineered to deliver repeatable accuracy. As a result, shooters experience faster break-in periods and long-term barrel life. LEAD times for Stainless MTU/COMP and VCC competition contours are running at 6-10 weeks in 6.5 and 6mm
Carbon Fiber is all the map at this time. please call or email. lead times on stainless proof/ and carbon fiber can be as high as 12-16 weeks, some orders can go out much much faster depending on your specs, while others are taking longer. this is a very small industry that is tasked with providing a very unique product and are held to extremely tight specs.

From good to great. I wanted to make my 300 PRC more suppressor friendly and increase the twist to stabilize the 208 gn LRX from Barnes. Got the prefit for my TL3 from SJA and mounted it that evening. Hit the range the next day. I do old school barrel break in cleaning after each round for the first five, then the next two, then the next three. Sent two, three shot groups after that holding the same Point of Aim. 0.49 MOA at 200 yards off a bench for the six shot composite. Then did it again sending 3 to 500 yard steel. Big fan of SJA after this experience. 20 inch Proof Sendero.

This is my 4th prefit from SJA, and all 4 have performed excellent. My current barrel is spot on. Load development took less than 15 rds and produced .25” groups with an SD of 3.2 across 5 shots, and an SD of 6.3 across 20 rds. These guys delivered exactly what I was expecting.
