Straight Jacket Armory offers a Blueprinting Service designed to bring your rifle’s action into precise alignment with the true centerline of the receiver. This process corrects small inconsistencies found in many factory actions and creates a stronger, more consistent foundation for your rifle.

In many standard factory rifles, the bolt lugs and receiver lug seats do not make even contact. Often, one lug carries most of the load while the other barely engages. Over time, this uneven pressure can affect accuracy, increase wear, and reduce overall performance.

We correct this by machining the rear faces of the bolt lugs and the internal receiver lug seats until they are perfectly flat and perpendicular to the bore centerline. As a result, both lugs share the load evenly during firing.

This process improves consistency from shot to shot, helps the bolt lock up more smoothly, and reduces unnecessary stress on critical components. In addition, it contributes to a safer and longer-lasting rifle by distributing force evenly across the action.
