The Derecho Short-Action Receiver delivers precision engineering and elite performance for serious builds. Its 3-lug system ensures fast cycling and a tight 60° bolt throw. Made from pre-hardened 4140 alloy steel with an integrated .300” recoil lug and 20 MOA Picatinny rail, the Derecho fits Remington 700 footprint stocks and chassis systems.

Will not head space properly with Terminus and Curtis pre-fit barrels.

Description

The Black Rain Ordnance Derecho Short-Action Receiver is built for precision rifle builds. It is crafted from pre-hardened 4140 alloy steel. The 3-lug design allows a fast 60° bolt throw. This reduces shooter fatigue and speeds up cycling.

It features an integrated .300” recoil lug and a factory-machined 20 MOA Picatinny rail. The receiver is ready for optics and long-range shooting. The bolt is made from 4140 steel with tight tolerances. Headspace variance is around ±0.001”, ensuring consistent accuracy with quality barrels.

The Derecho uses a Remington 700 footprint. This allows compatibility with many stocks and chassis systems. EDM-machined raceway surfaces provide smooth operation. The PVD Titankote (Me-DLC) finish offers corrosion resistance and a premium look.
