It uses a floating bolt head for quick caliber changes. You can easily swap bolt faces and barrels. This gives you more flexibility with fewer parts.

The RD3 features controlled round feed and mechanical ejection. These upgrades boost reliability and smooth operation. It also accepts both AW and AICS magazines, offering more magazine options.

The action includes Savage-style 1-1/16 x 20 TPI threads, making pre-fit barrel swaps fast and easy. The integral 20 MOA rail and recoil lug improve alignment and stability.

You also get an adjustable firing pin, and the bayonet-style bolt shroud makes disassembly quick. Every detail of the RD3 shows precision and purpose.

You get a massive amount of action for the money with the Bighorn Origin. You can swap bolt faces for only $125 each. That means you can run multiple calibers from the same action. Even better, you can order pre-fit barrels to match. This makes upgrades and caliber changes simple.

Best of all, the Origin takes Rem700-style triggers. It also drops directly into Rem700 inlet stocks and chassis. No special modifications required.

 RD3 Specs:

– 223, 308, Magnum or PPC/SPC (Valkyrie) bolt heads
– Swept bolt handle smooth tactical
– Remington style feed lips (compatible with AICS magazines and hinged floor plate designs)
– 5 choices of bolt knobs
– Pinned 20 MOA rail

The RD3 uses Remington-style feed lips, so it works with AICS magazines and hinged floor plate designs. You also get five unique bolt knob options to match your personal style.

The Origin features a Remington 700 footprint, making it highly compatible. You can install it into most stocks or chassis with ease. It uses Savage small-shank threads, giving you tons of barrel options. Run Savage pre-fits or go classic with shouldered barrels.

This action features the same footprint as a Remington Model 700 action to allow for easy installation into most stocks and chassis as well as utilizing the same trigger configuration as a Remington Model 700. It is threaded to the same spec as standard Savage small-shank threads allowing for Savage pre-fit barrels as well as the option of the classic shouldered barrel.
