ORIGIN features the same footprint as a Remington Model 700 action to allow for easy installation into most stocks and chassis as well as utilizing the same trigger configuration as a Remington Model 700. ORIGIN is threaded to the same spec as standard Savage small-shank threads allowing for Savage pre-fit barrels as well as the option of the classic shouldered barrel.

The Bighorn Origin action has built a strong reputation in the shooting world. It delivers strength, smooth bolt operation, and smart engineering. Because it uses a Remington 700 footprint, it fits many popular stocks and chassis systems. In addition, the action features an interchangeable bolt head, a controlled-round-feed style extractor, and a 90-degree bolt throw. As a result, shooters can run multiple calibers with confidence. Barrels Built for Accuracy and Consistency

Origin action, straight jacket medium Palma barrel, 6.5 creedmoor, the least I can say is I’m happy with the build, but really, this thing is nuts accurate, I’m over joyed. From the very beginning to the end, communication was excellent, lead time was 8-10 weeks, I received mine in 5-6. Attention to detail is excellent, when it comes time for another barrel to switch out, I won’t look any further than this company.
