Azimuth Technology utilizes state-of-the-art technology to manufacture our 10/22® type receiver. We CNC mill critical areas to tolerances as tight as .0005” using solid billet, aerospace-grade 7075 aluminum which is hard anodized. 7075 aluminum has a higher tensile strength and higher strength to weight ratio, increasing durability over thousands of rounds. It is more than 60% lighter than stainless steel with nearly identical strength properties.

Azimuth Technology’s precision AZTP-22^™ features a Dual Internal Bolt Track with milled recoil-spring channel, which creates a precision bolt fit with mated bearing surfaces to eliminate bolt canting and binding. The receiver is also engineered with a rear cleaning rod guide hole for proper chamber-to-muzzle barrel cleaning.
