The Most well-known Match Grade Barrels used by PRS and NRL shooters are now being custom-built for the Aero Precision Solus Action!
These custom pre-fit barrels meet exact standards for the Aero Solus action, in both short and long action. They work well for precision competitors and demanding shooters.
We chamber and headspace each barrel to the correct specifications. We match the shank length, thread pitch, and headspace used on the Zermatt Origin.
We use only top-tier, match‑grade blanks from trusted manufacturers. These blanks deliver consistency, accuracy, and long service life.
We cut, finish, and inspect every barrel in-house. This ensures strong performance the moment you install it.

Thorro Clean-Bore Cleaning System
Cleaning your barrel during break in and load development, and through the life of the barrel, is crucial. Making sure you will have longer barrel life and peak accuracy comes from proper maintenance. Carbon ring and early fire cracking can create a bad experience that isn’t the barrels fault. We are now offering Complete Cleaning Kits that we use in our shop to keep our barrels performing properly. You can choose the entire kit or piece out what you need. This includes Thorro Clean bore cleaning products that we use.

Aero Solus Prefit Barrels FAQ
What barrel manufacturers do you use?
Our primary stainless steel barrel is a select match barrel blank that we trust for precision shooting. Brands may vary depending on availability, but quality and performance are never compromised. Other brands we can get include Proof Research, Bartlein, and CRB. Proof is our primary carbon fiber barrel choice.
Can I choose the barrel’s contour, length, and chamber?
Yes. We offer various customization options during order, including barrel contour, fluting, length, caliber/twist rate, and chamber. You can select your preferred specs using the dropdown menus above.
Do these barrels require a gunsmith to install?
No. These are true pre-fit barrels designed for easy installation onto a compatible Aero Solus action. No gunsmithing, chambering, or headspacing is required, just proper torque and tools.
Can I add a muzzle brake or suppressor?
Yes. We offer several muzzle thread options to support brakes, suppressors, and other devices. You can select a compatible thread when ordering.
Do you have any triggers?
We offer a few accessories for your build, including triggers, muzzle brakes, and bottom metals with magazines. Triggers are not included by default; this ensures compatibility and saves you time. You can find them in the drop-down selections above.
What finish options are available?
We offer a selection of finish options, including bead-blasted, polished, and Cerakote, which can be chosen during the build process.
How long will it take to receive my barrel?

I bought a Solus barreled action from aero when they first came out. The factory barrel was ok as long as I didn’t get it hot. But after shooting my first PRS match I found out that the barrels need to be able to hold groups when shooting 10-15 shots per stage and the aero barrel was not up to the task. I bought a 6GT barrel from SJA and it’s a hammer! I took Coles advice on a starting load and I haven’t changed it. This is a solid 1/4 MOA barrel all day long! Buy with confidence!

I ordered a 6 Creed Prefit for my Aero Precision Solus, Comp Plus profile, as well as a Bix and Andy Trigger. The barrel is exceptional. It shoots under a half an MOA, doesn’t open up after sustained fire, and I couldn’t be happier with the performance. As for the Customer Service of SJA, I can’t compare it to anyone else. The customer service level I experienced was unlike anything else I’ve experienced… Absolutely incredible. 1st, the barrel and trigger shipped exceptionally fast. I had my barrel in hand roughly 1.5 weeks after the order. Second, LaWayne and Cole both helped me when I had a hiccup on my end from some gauges i had that weren’t to spec. They offered to look into it themselves, so I shipped them my action and the barrel, and they went so far as to install it for me and FaceTime me to show me everything was fine. Who does that!?! Then they shipped it back ultra fast and followed up with me after.
TLDR: Sub .5 MOA accuracy, exceptional build quality, lightning fast turnaround time, and top-notch Customer Service. I don’t know which is better, their customer service or their barrels. Will buy again.
