How to Mount a Scope Tube Bubble Level:

  1. Choose the Correct Size:
    Ensure the bubble level matches your scope tube diameter—commonly 30mm or 34mm. Using the wrong size can lead to improper fit or damage.

  2. Loosen the Clamp:
    Most levels use a single or dual-screw clamp. Loosen the screws just enough to allow the level to slip over the scope tube.

  3. Position the Level:
    Slide the level onto the tube, ideally just in front of the scope’s turret housing (eyepiece side or objective side depending on your preference and clearance).

  4. Level Your Rifle and Scope:
    Place your rifle in a secure gun vise or on sandbags. Use a small bubble level to ensure the rifle is level both front-to-back and side-to-side. Then, verify your scope’s reticle is perfectly level.

  5. Align the Bubble Level:
    With the rifle and scope leveled, rotate the bubble level until the bubble sits dead center in the vial.

  6. Tighten the Screw:
